Toronto Arts Council and Microskills holds part 2 of the 2008 summer trainers workshop in Jamestown which will form the 1st Modern Batik Art Guild for youth in Ontario, Canada. Workshop from the 27th September 2008.

Youth challenge fund and MicroSkills are hosting a Modern Batik Art Workshop" Train the trainer " in high schools in the Jane and Finch area.
 
  • West Humber Collegiate
  • North Albion Collegiate  
  • Emery Collegite. C.W. Jeffery's Collegite. Microskills youth centre.
The workshop begins on the 11th of March to November 2008.

Toronto Community Housing Corporation will host a youth modern Batik Art workshops program ( A different back splash ) that will have past youth MBWAS youth teaching along side artistic director David Kibuuka.( Train the trainer program ) Workshop will begin in April.
